Powering The Future

Engineering Sustainable Transportation

The Electric Vehicle Innovation Center (EVIC) at KLE Tech is a dedicated hub for advancing sustainable mobility through cutting-edge research. The Center focuses on developing integrated solutions in power electronic converters for smart EV drives, advanced battery technologies, and grid-connected charging systems. At EVIC, we design compact, efficient motor drives using optimized control algorithms and high-performance power converters. Our research explores enhanced energy storage systems with robust Battery Management Systems (BMS) to ensure safety, reliability, and fast-charging readiness. The Center also investigates sustainable design approaches, thermal management, and smart grid integration. With innovations like Vehicle-to-Anything (V2X) for bidirectional energy flow and renewable integration, EVIC is building the foundation for a cleaner, smarter, and more connected future in transportation.
