KLE Technological University inaugurated the Regional Engineering Education Symposium (REES-2024) on January 4, 2024 — a three-day event bringing together leading voices in engineering education.
The symposium was inaugurated by Dr. Teresa Hattingh, Chair of REEN, University of Johannesburg, who highlighted REES’s vision of building global, inclusive, independent networks for engineering education research.

The inauguration also featured the announcement of the Duncan Fraser Award.
The symposium theme, “Connecting Research, Policy, and Practice for Transforming Engineering Education”, set the tone for engaging workshops, plenaries, and discussions.
