KLE Technological University hosted the Eleventh International Conference on Transformations in Engineering Education (ICTIEE 2024) and the IUCEE Annual Student Forum (IASF 2024) beginning January 2, 2024.
The theme for the conference was “Systemic Transformation in Engineering Education.”
Highlights:- Dr. Ashok Shettar, Vice Chancellor, underscored KLE Tech’s commitment to global educational innovation.
- Dr. Krishna Vedula (IUCEE) emphasized the need for change agents and global collaboration in engineering education.
- Prof. S. K. Ramesh (California State University) introduced the CARE model — Collaborative, Accountable, Resilient, Ethical.
- Michael Milligan, CEO, ABET, urged educators to address global challenges through STEM education.
- Dr. Gopalkrishna Joshi shared milestones of KLE Tech’s journey toward autonomy and excellence.
The event featured workshops, paper presentations, plenaries, and bootcamps.
IASF began with a bootcamp led by Ms. Sampada Pachuary, followed by sessions from 14 distinguished mentors including experts from India, Austria, Australia, and the industry.
Over 300 delegates from India and abroad participated, making the conference a major platform for learning and collaboration.
