PRAVRUTTI – the National Tech Fest hosted by Ramaiah University of Applied Sciences, Bengaluru, witnessed an exceptional showcase of innovation and technical talent from the 3rd Semester Automation and Robotics students of KLE Technological University.In the highly competitive Robo Climb Competition, Team Alpha Crew — comprising Amogh N Betageri, Nisha N Gowda, Ananya Kumtakar, and Pavanashree Kamat — secured First Place, winning a prize of ₹20,000 for their outstanding execution and precision. Meanwhile, Team Grind Squad — Nandita Nirvanashetti, Srushti Badnur, Allam Velangini Srija, and Shidhant Randewadi — achieved Second Place, earning ₹15,000. These achievements stand as strong examples of teamwork and innovation, reflecting the emerging talent that is shaping the future of robotics in India.
InCUB8, the flagship event of NITK Surathkal, saw an outstanding performance from Team MakeinBVB of KLE Tech, who secured prizes in six out of eight competitions. Guided by the KLE Centre for Technology Innovation and Entrepreneurship (CTIE), the team achieved: 1st Place – Pitch Dunk A business consultancy challenge with 40 teams competing. KLE Tech secured the top position through a strong strategic solution. 2nd Place – Case Link Competing against 100+ teams, the students showcased analytical and creative excellence. 2nd Place – Anunada Recognized for innovation by generating music from waste. KLE Tech also received a Consolation Prize in Arambh for impactful early-stage ideas. At the Startup Expo, Ayush Kabbur’s ‘Offix’ was honored as the Best Problem-Solving Startup. In the Pitch to VC event, Siddhant Rolli’s venture ranked among the Top 8 nationally, securing direct mentorship from venture capitalists. These achievements highlight KLE Tech students’ creativity, intellect, and innovation-driven mindset.
Mr. Praveen Karadiguddi shared the story behind naming their company Scrum-Connect, the inspiration behind founding it with his wife Mrs. Shilpa Karadiguddi, and the challenges they overcame. The company’s major contributions to UK government projects High citizen satisfaction rates Gen AI’s growing role in jobs, entrepreneurship, and future opportunities He also emphasized the importance of “Knowing the Why” and guided students through a self-reflection activity on their 5-year vision. The session highlighted the importance of entrepreneurial thinking and continuous development.
KLE Technological University proudly hosted a 5-day Faculty Development Program on AI Applications in Banking and Healthcare Industry in collaboration with EXCELR. Dr. S. F. Patil, Principal, delivered the keynote session, highlighting how AI is transforming both sectors. The program helped bridge academia and industry by equipping faculty with cutting-edge AI knowledge and practical insights essential for shaping future innovators.
A guest talk on “Development and Opportunities in the Space Sector” was conducted on 1st December 2023. Shri. Sanjeev C. Gour, Senior Scientist–SG, ISRO MCF Hassan, was the guest of honor.The event was coordinated by Prof. Savita Hanji.

Mrs. Shilpa Karadiguddi delivered an insightful session on women’s participation in the IT industry, highlighting the existing gender gap despite strong talent and capability. She emphasized that women often meet 8 out of 10 job prerequisites, while men apply after meeting only 3 out of 10, noting the issue is often self-doubt rather than skill. She encouraged women to be confident, pursue their aspirations, and break stereotypes. She also shared how Scrum-Connect promotes equal opportunities and provides supportive workplace policies for women. Her inspiring talk resonated with many in the audience.
