Rooted in the vibrant city of Hubballi, our campus has long stood as a pillar of technical education in North Karnataka. Formerly known as B.V. Bhoomaraddi College of Engineering and Technology (BVB), we’ve grown from a pioneering institution into KLE Technological University—part of the 108-year-strong KLE Society, one of Asia’s most respected education networks.

As the region evolved, so did we. From undergraduate to doctoral programs, we offer a diverse range of disciplines including engineering, architecture, fashion, commerce, and management. Our presence in the Hubballi-Dharwad twin cities—a region known for its cultural richness and entrepreneurial spirit—continues to shape changemakers who carry forward our legacy while building the future.

Hubballi enjoys a climate that aligns well with the rhythm of campus life. Summers, from late February to early June, are typically warm and dry—ideal for focused academic sessions and outdoor learning. The monsoon brings a refreshing change, nurturing the region’s greenery, though occasional heavy showers may pause the pace.
From October to February, the weather turns comfortably cool and pleasant—making it a favourite season for campus events, festivals, and community life. With an average annual rainfall of 838 mm, the city offers a balanced environment that supports both study and exploration throughout the year.

With an airport linking to major metros, a railway station that connects across India, and highways spanning multiple states, the city ensures our students and faculty are never too far from opportunity. Whether you’re from Karnataka or another part of the world, Hubballi’s transport systems bring you closer to innovation, collaboration, and learning at KLE Tech.

By Air

Hubballi Airport is just 7 km from KLE Tech’s Hubballi Campus—less than a 20-minute drive. It offers direct flights to major Indian cities including Bengaluru, Mumbai, Delhi, Hyderabad, Pune, and Chennai. An additional option is Belagavi Airport, approximately 90 km away (90-minute drive), which further extends domestic connectivity.

By Rail

Hubballi Railway Junction is located 5.5 km from campus. Well-connected to Mumbai, Delhi, Pune, Bengaluru, Chennai, Hyderabad, Mysuru, Ahmedabad, and more, the station is among the busiest in Karnataka and also home to the longest railway platform in the world (1,507 meters). Taxis, buses and local auto-rickshaws are easily available at the station, ensuring a hassle-free last-mile journey to campus.

By Road

KLE Tech is about 6 km from Hubballi’s Central Bus Stand. Hubballi lies at the intersection of NH-4, NH-63, and NH-218, connecting it to Bengaluru, Mangaluru, Hyderabad, Pune, Goa, Tirupati, and more. For local travel, the Hubballi-Dharwad BRTS (Bus Rapid Transit System) offers reliable, fast, and student-friendly transit—with designated stops near the campus and around the city. The BRTS system ensures smooth intra-city movement for students, especially during rush hours.
