Legal Voices for Nature

The Green Lawyers Club (GLC) was formed by a dedicated group of students and faculty to promote awareness about protecting the environment. The club actively collaborates with ministries, activists, and NGOs to find legal solutions for pressing environmental challenges.
One of GLC’s notable initiatives was a Silent March held during the Deepavali festival, aimed at educating the public about the harms of bursting firecrackers. Over 100 student volunteers participated, carrying banners and placards to convey the message, marching from BDA Complex, Nagarbhavi to Ambedkar College, Nagarbhavi.
A standout achievement of GLC is the Green Advocacy Competition, which provides students a platform to present innovative solutions for environmental issues. The event showcases their commitment to sustainability, fostering teamwork and practical problem-solving skills. The success of this competition highlights GLC’s role in inspiring and empowering students to take active part in environmental advocacy.
