The K-Tech Innovation Hub (NAIN – New Age Incubation Network) at KLE Dr. M. S. Sheshgiri College of Engineering and Technology organized a one-day “E-STEP Bootcamp” on 6th September 2019 in association with the Karnataka Innovation and Technology Society (KITS), Department of IT, BT, and S&T, Government of Karnataka. The event was presided over by our Principal, Dr. Basavaraj Katageri, and saw participation from over 300 students across all engineering departments. Resource persons Mr. Abrar Ahmed and Mr. Vishnu Nagaraj of KITS delivered sessions that guided students on startup essentials and government support systems.
As an outcome of the bootcamp, students gained awareness about Startup Karnataka initiatives, funding opportunities, and government platforms available for young innovators. The hands-on sessions helped participants understand the process of turning ideas into actionable projects, making the event a highly interactive, informative, and inspiring experience for budding entrepreneurs.

The session was led by Mr. Prabuddha Vyas, Managing Director of UniKwan Innovations Pvt. Ltd., Bengaluru, and presided over by our Principal, Dr. Basavaraj Katageri.
Over 235 students from various branches of our college participated and gained valuable insights. The workshop enabled students to identify areas for real-time projects, understand the process of idea implementation, and learn the journey from concept to prototype. Overall, the session was highly engaging, informative, and instrumental in fostering entrepreneurial thinking among students.
