The M.Tech in VLSI Design and Embedded Systems at KLE Tech is a 2-year (4-semesters) Postgraduate program offered by the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering. This program equips aspiring engineers with the expertise required for cutting-edge roles in VLSI design and Testing, Embedded System development, and Industry-driven innovation.
With a strong emphasis on Integrated Circuit Design, System-on-Chip (SoC) development, IC characterization and testing, low-power architectures, and real-time embedded applications, the curriculum blends theoretical foundations with practical exposure to state-of-the-art design and simulation tools. Students receive extensive hands-on training through advanced labs, industry-standard hardware and software platforms, and real-world project engagements, preparing them to excel in both core industries and research organizations.

Students should be able to demonstrate a degree of mastery over the area as per the specialization of the program. The mastery should be at a level higher than the requirements in the appropriate bachelor program.
