We were established under the KLE Technological University Act, which forms the statutory foundation of our academic and administrative structure. This act empowers us to function as an autonomous and multidisciplinary university.
We are recognized under Section 2(f) of the UGC Act, making us eligible for inclusion in central and state university-level academic frameworks and quality initiatives.
With recognition under Section 12(B) of the UGC Act, we are eligible to receive central assistance for research, infrastructure, and academic development from the Government of India.
