Our Foundation & Evolution

We create value by leveraging knowledge to shape a meaningful future. This mission began in 1947, when the KLE Society, Belagavi, established B. V. Bhoomaraddi College of Engineering and Technology to lay the foundation for technical education in northern Karnataka.

We operate across three campuses—Hubballi, Belagavi, and Bengaluru. Each campus is a hub of learning, innovation, and student development. While our programs currently focus on Engineering, Management, and Law, we are on a path to becoming a multidisciplinary research university by 2031.

KLE Tech is a key driver of the regional startup ecosystem. Through the Centre for Technology Innovation and Entrepreneurship (CTIE), we’ve incubated over 135 startups, with a cumulative valuation of ₹250+ crore and more than 2,000 jobs created. Recognized as a Technology Business Incubator by the Department of Science and Technology, CTIE is seen as a model for tier-II cities across India.
