At KLE Dr. M. S. Sheshgiri College of Engineering and Technology, we were sanctioned the New Age Incubation Network (NAIN) Centre by the Government of Karnataka, Department of IT, BT and S&T, in recognition of our strong infrastructure and vibrant research and innovation ecosystem. Established in October 2018, the centre is dedicated to igniting young minds and guiding student ideas from concept to proof-of-concept (POC) stage with the right mentoring, resources, and entrepreneurial support.
Through this initiative, we encourage our students to identify local problems and design frugal, technology-driven solutions. Each project team works closely with our faculty and industry mentors to build viable business models and cultivate entrepreneurial thinking. With the active presence of startups and industry partners such as RFINITY Solutions Pvt. Ltd., Skil Intentus, Artallur Technologies, Standus (OPC) Pvt. Ltd., and many others, we provide an ecosystem that transforms innovative ideas into impactful ventures.
To nurture this journey, we have set up dedicated office spaces with workstations, round-the-clock internet, and power facilities. Shortlisted projects receive up to ₹3 lakhs in funding for prototype development. The Government of Karnataka supports our NAIN Centre for the first three years, extendable up to five based on performance, after which we aim to operate independently as a self-sustaining hub of innovation.
